The Simplest Ways to Meditate

I had a very difficult time sitting down & truly going inward. It is a hard thing to achieve, but the best things to remember are patience & ease. Sometimes we have to release more to connect. We need to create space to connect with our true selves & a higher power.

The Basics to Meditating & Truly Understand What it Means to Connect
I never really understood the benefits of meditation until I started trying it within my spiritual practice. After practicing it for a while, I realized how beneficial it was to me. My anxiety & sad days started to become less & less when I meditated often. I never forced myself to meditate, but I knew when to do it.
The practice of mediation is endless; being in a state of relaxation & truly enjoying the moment every moment is a pure form of being connected. The masters of having the ability to transcend the limitations of the physical world are called Yogis. Learn more about the true practice of Yoga here.
When you are overwhelmed & need some grounding, try meditating. When you are very calm & want to further deepen your relaxed state, try to meditate. You know when you need to get connected. Meditating brings out the light inside you, the same light that guides you through this beautiful life. You are eternal & you find out what that means when you are meditating.
Meditating is simply connecting with who you truly are- an eternal soul. Returning to a space with only love, only joy. You come back to your spiritual home & become detached from the physical life. You become a witness to your world & the world around you. You start to discover answers. The answers to simplifying your life & continuously releasing the ego.
I recommend a quiet, safe space where you feel comfortable. To start you can cleanse your space, either with sage, incense, a crystal, or just your words. Simply put out your intentions on meditating. Communicate with a higher source & the universe what you are trying to achieve by meditating. For example: “Universe, higher power, spirit guides that are of the highest good for me, I am meditating with the intent to be relaxed, at peace, find balance, discover answers, receive signs, & connect with higher power. Please guide me into your light.”
Once you have set your intention, you can listen to meditation music or guided meditations on YouTube. I recommend guided meditations at first to focus on a voice, but if you want to do it with just music, that works, too! You can focus on an affirmation as simple as “I am connected with light.” Put your focus on a bright light or whatever makes you feel the power.
Let that power take over your body. You should feel relaxed & full of bliss. It is the feeling to achieve. You should feel rejuvenated & happy. It’s okay if you don’t feel this way the first few times. Remember to be patient with yourself.
How to Meditate at Any Place with Ease
Since meditation is a very focused task, clear space for it & make this a comfortable environment for you. Once you begin to understand the meaning & feelings to achieve with meditation, you are able to craft this space within your mind no matter where you are in the physical world.
All you need to connect is your focus & a few seconds. All it takes is a few deep breaths & your willingness to let go & connect. Realize what is important & what your service is here on Earth. Remember to become a witness & zoom out. You are releasing the ego. Instead of doing meditation at the end of the day, try it in between breaks, try it a few times during the day. Simply take a few seconds to ground yourself.
The biggest tip to get out of this is the key to starting your spiritual journey- your willingness. You have to be willing to release & eliminate the mud- the negativity. We all have negative thoughts, feelings, & past experiences we need to release. Choose to release them now so you can let go & live your life with comfort & ease. Choose yourself now!
Being able to ground yourself at any time & place is truly a gift & you should be very proud of yourself. You are already understanding that you are simply not this body you live in; you were given this body to be a service to others here on Earth. You are deserving of receiving, because of the loving energy you give. You are worthy of everything you desire because you simply already have it.
How to Further Deepen Your Practice of Meditation
Further deepening your practice of meditation means simply going all in. Give in to the force & follow your power. Letting go of your ego & surrendering to the highest good of all. Try different forms of meditation- sound bowls, group meditation, yoga, reiki, & so much more!
